ABOUT OUR TRAINER

Gabriella Szőke
Civil Engineer, BIM Modeller
Trimble Inc.

I graduated as a Civil Engineer in Infrastructure at the Faculty of Technology, University of Debrecen in 2015. In the same year I was admitted to the Master of Urban Engineering and in the last semester of the 2-year course I started working at my current job as a contract employee of Marcell-ház Kft. at the department of Trimble Inc. It was here that I was introduced to BIM technology, which has now become my passion and my credo to make people aware of the potential of BIM. It was here that I was introduced to BIM technology, which has now become my passion and my credo to make people aware of the potential of BIM. My strengths are Autodesk Revit and Trimble Business Center. The former is used for modelling buildings and the latter for linear facilities and terrain. I have been teaching for almost 2 years now and I try to pass on my passion to my students.

WHO DO I RECOMMEND THE COURSE TO?

“Students who complete the course will be able to define and schedule the workflows and resource requirements for a given modelling task. Students will learn to process point clouds in a BIM environment, create setting axes and perform analyses based on these.”

BUILDING INFORMATION MODELLING

  • During this module, the student will learn the steps to adapt the setting axes to BIM software.
  • The participants will get an overview of the steps to create a BIM model.
  • The students will also get an overview of BIM based quantitative statements, analyses and delaying of production plans.
  • Participants will learn about the content requirements of the design plans.
  • They will learn to define the resource requirements of data processing methods.
  • Students will learn how to plan in a BIM environment. They will create alignment axes in the BIM software based on the coordinate data received, etc.
  • During the module, students will learn about the main applications of the BIM model in construction workflows.
  • Accordingly, during the module the student will learn to apply the quantitative statements and analyses produced in the BIM environment.
